Frances Stewart Esposito, MD has been appointed to the Delaware Authority on Radiation Protection as the Medical Society of Delaware representative.
A radiologist at Beebe Medical Center, she is currently Chief of Radiology, and Chairman of the Radiation Safety and Credentials Committees and has been President of the Medical Staff. She has been Radiation Safety Officer at Beebe Medical Center from 1992 until 2006, as well as for fifteen years at Germantown Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she practiced Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
She graduated from Duke University with a BS in Chemistry, and then from Woman's Medical College of Pennsylvania with an MD, where she also interned in Internal Medicine. A Residency in Diagnostic Radiology followed at Philadelphia General Hospital and subsequently a fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
